Islander Jacket in Pink Twill

This is a repeat of the Islander jacket. This time I tried to pretty much follow the video lessons and the actual construction went smoother. This fabric is a stretch twill which made it more difficult to get a nice pressed edge for the topstitching. The fabric also frayed making the welt pockets difficult and not as nice of a finish as I would have liked.
I do highly recommend the Sew Better Sew Faster class at Craftsy. There are great tips and Janet Pray is a great instructor.
I did a narrow shoulder alteration this time and shortened the sleeves by about 1 1/2 inches.
