A quilt for Madison

Earlier I posted a picture of Wyatt's quilt that I made for Christmas. Today it is Madison's turn. I saw a quilt pinned on Pinterest very similar to this one. I thought it would be great for  a little girl. I think she will be happy with it.

Nothing says fall quite like corduroy jackets. I have been making corduroy hooded jackets for the grands since Tripp was born eight years ago. they are always made with the fine wale corduroy for softness and lines with an assortment of linings- usually what would appeal to that particular child at that time.

Here are this years jackets. Their moms purchased the fabrics this year.

Dylan's jacket with the Alabama fabric lining. I knew for sure the jacket was a hit when Dylan said,"I'm going to wear it evva day."

Wyatt's with the Mickey Mouse fabric he selected for the lining.

A Cricut and a pumpkin

I recently bought a Cricut Expression and am slowly learning to use it. I cut out a large letter to make a stencil. I traced the letter on and then painted with acrylic paint.  I think I am going to like this Cricut.

Choo- Choo Quilt

This is for Wyatt for Christmas. Like most little boys he loves trains, so what could be appropriate for him?
My goal is to make throw size quilts for each of the 5 oldest grands for Christmas. Should be cuddly for TV watching.
