Rosette cake

After seeing these type cakes on line I have been wanting to try one. A bridal shower this weekend was the perfect opportunity to do that.

I used the Wilton 2D tip and the yummiest cake icing ever.

Did you start at the bottom & work your way up or around?

What is the icing recipe you used that was so yummy???

Rett, I did start at the bottom and did a row going around the cake. Then the second row is in the space that would be between the roses on the lower row but of course on the row above. The icing is just a decorator icing that has the butter flavoring added. I will email you the recipe.
