Some signs of Spring- which by the way is my favorite  time of the year...........

One lone tulip-- the only one I have. It is a memory though. My oldest daughter bought it for her sisters birthday when they were in college and sharing an apartment. They brought it home and I planted it in the front flower bed. Every year when it has just this one bloom it is a reminder of  sisterly love between daughters.

Yellow irises are usually among the first things to bloom in my yard.

And the wisteria

and the snow ball bush-- it was rooted from the snowball bush that was in my grandmothers yard.  My grandmother passed away 30 years ago but i have many memories of the snow ball bush that once bloomed in her yard

You can  see the azaleas blooming on the left looking through the archway.

A Few Of My Favorite Things

We recently made a trip to Texas to  visit our daughter and son in law. While we were there I got some sweet pictures of the grands.

Easter has come and gone

Well, Easter has come and gone for another year. I hope everyone got to spend time with family. It was a treat to me to have all 5 of the grands at church for Easter. Even got some pictures to share.

For the past few years a  family from church has hosted an Easter egg hunt at their home on Easter Sunday . There were I believe over 2,000 eggs hidden--mostly out in view for the smaller children to find. Most if not all of the eggs had a small prize inside. This is a fun time for the kids. We took 3 of the grands to the egg hunt the other two went to their other grandparents house.

My wish for you my friends is that you had as an enjoyable Easter as we did.
